Mayowood Mansion: Museum & Tours

Take a one-hour guided tour of the 5-storied, 38-room mansion, which now boasts an extensive art collection, antique furnishings, and perfectly manicured gardens. Christmas tours of the Mayowood Mansion are popular during the holiday season, featuring a lit up holiday display.

When in the year is the Mayowood Mansion open?

Mayowood Mansion is open for tours typically the last week of April throughout October. It does reopen during the holiday season for Christmas Tours.

Are tours of the Mayowood Mansion available?

Yes, guests will be escorted through the home and given a verbal depiction of what life was like in the mansion at the time that it was occupied by the Mayo family. Tours are given May through October, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays. Each holiday season there are Historic Mayowood Mansion Christmas tours from mid-November to mid-December. Mayowood Tours are conducted by an educated tour guide and last about 60 minutes.
